About us
Mariakani Mabati NWDT Sacco was registered on 5th July 1988.
Membership is drawn from Mabati Rolling Mills Limited, Bahari Forwarders Limited, Kaluworks Limited, Safal Foundation and Mariakani Mabati Employees.
The Sacco opened its common bond in January 2016 to accommodate members outside the parent companies.
The Sacco’s head office is situated at the Mabati Rolling Mills factory in Mariakani along the Mombasa – Nairobi highway. Our Current membership stands at 758, with 9 members of the Board of Directors and 3 members of the audit committee both elected by members at general meetings.
The Sacco was awarded the top position as the best-managed Sacco in Kilifi County during the Ushirika Day celebration held on 6th July 2024.
